Ein ganz sch\u00f6ner Ritt\u2026 Links und rechts haben wir immer wieder mal angehalten und Bilder gemacht. Was wir dann nicht auf Bilder gebannt haben sind die massiven Sch\u00e4den, die das Erdbeben im November an den Stra\u00dfen rund um Kaikoura verursacht hat. Hier sind ganze Bergh\u00e4nge abgerutscht und haben die Stra\u00dfe unter sich begraben oder gleich ganz weg gerissen. Kaikoura war auch f\u00fcr einige Tage komplett von der Au\u00dfenwelt abgeschnitten. <\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Auch die Tourenanbieter f\u00fcr Whalewatching und andere Sachen die auf dem Wasser stattfinden, k\u00f6nnen im Moment nur eingeschr\u00e4nkt arbeiten, weil sich der Meeresgrund rund um Kaikoura um etwa 1,5 Meter angehoben hat und der Hafen zerst\u00f6rt wurde. So kann man im Moment nur bei Flut aufs Meer raus fahren und deshalb finden deutlich weniger Touren statt. F\u00fcr uns bedeutet das: Weil wir an einem Wochenende in Kaikoura sind und nicht Wochenlang im Voraus geplant und gebucht haben gibt es keine Pl\u00e4tze beim Whalewatching mehr. Aber wir haben noch Pl\u00e4tze bei einer Delfin-Tour bekommen und k\u00f6nnen hier sogar ins Wasser und mit den Tieren schwimmen.<\/p>\n<p>Die Fahrt an sich ist anstrengend. Wir halten hier und da mal an wo sich die Gelegenheit bietet.
